Latch!

We had a latch!!! With no shield!!!! And she kept it for like 10 minutes!!!!

It was a TERRIBLE latch that hurt like HELL, but I grinned and beared it to let her keep it in her mouth, because the texture is obviously very different than the texture of a shield. (Usually she won't even close her mouth without one and when she does she starts crying, and throws her head back pulling away.)

Thank gosh she was pacify sucking really gently and fighting dozing off, rather than nutritively sucking which is much harder and would have been more painful.

But we're getting there!!!
